Senior Counsellor

Hello I am a fully qualified and experienced Person Centred Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (RMBACP). I have a BA (Hons) in Counselling Studies and gained my experience in various settings. These include GP surgery, prison mental health team, NHS community counselling, GamCare (charity supporting those affected by problem gambling). Voluntary roles I have undertaken include Rape Crisis, Women’s Aid and Open Door (community health services, anger management group). I believe that counselling should be accessible and affordable to everyone. Although my foundation is Person Centred I work in an integrative way to support all clients facing a range of issues and difficulties.

The Charity

The Beryl Browne Foundation (BBF) was registered in 2006. It is a small community charity which has a focus on people first. BBF has delivered services in the UK, Caribbean and Africa.

Evolving minds is a project of BBF we are delivering services in teaching and talk therapy and we are doing it online. The community has grown from a physical setting like a village in Africa, or a neighbourhood in the inner city to a global perspective. We are a global community, and we are all looking for methods of surviving this covid 19 pandemic.

The level of fear and anxiety which has been caused as a result of this pandemic is having a catastrophic effect of the mental health of people, the impact of which can last for many years to come. Our Evolving minds project will help to ease some of this trauma and assist in redirecting or repositioning people for their new beginnings.
